What better way to spend the weekend than by listening to incredible music with man's best friend? Evidently, that's what a lot of festival-goers thought because we saw tons of dogs at Beartrap Summer Festival 2012. Big dogs, little dogs, cool dogs, annoying dogs- they were all there! We even snapped a few pictures so you can see what we mean.

Beartrap Summer Festival 2012 has come and gone, and we've seen a lot of things. We've seen amazing bands, cool vendors and awesome food. We've also seen lots and lots of kids. Turns out, these kiddos may be the most adorable children we've ever seen. Check out these pics and let us know if you agree.
One of the best parts about Beartrap Summer Festival 2012 is that people from all over Wyoming gather to listen to music and dance. Now granted, the dancing isn't something you would see on Dancing With The Stars or ABDC, but it's still fun to watch, especially when you're right in the middle of it with a camera.
Steve Earle and The Dukes have so many classics that I don't even know where to start in terms of picking my favorite. The writer in me always appreciates a good story, so I'd have to say that Harlan Man is one of my favs, just because it's one of the few songs that actually has a "sequel," so to speak. Check out the vid below.
It's always surreal for me when I hear famous songs by famous artists in person. Part of me forgets that I'm working, because I just want to sit back as a fan and watch. That's what happened when Steve Earle performed 'Guitar Town' at Beartrap Summer Festival 2012. Check out this video of his classic song.
FACT: Every music group has needs. FACT: It is the responsibility of the festival/venue staff to accommodate those needs... particularly if there is a contract dictating the terms of those needs. With that in mind, more often than not, our headliners require some food following their sets on the Beartrap stage - and we're more than happy to help out.
Dude played a guitar sideways. That's all you need to know. Watch the video.
I always thought that in order to be infamous, you had to be bad. But The Infamous Stringdusters are anything but. Their unique take on Bluegrass/Americana has led them to actual fame, which has in turn led them to Beartrap Summer Festival 2012. We're glad about that. Check out these pics from their set.
I've said it once and I'll say it again- Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen stole the show at Beartrap. This four-man group tore the house down with their music. My favorite songs are the ones that come from stories. This band told a story with every song they sang. Here is just one of those stories that they performed at Beartrap Summer Festival 2012.
