Where is the 2024 Beartrap Summer Festival?
For one year only, due to the road improvements taking place on Casper Mountain Road this year, the festival will be held at Washington Park, in the heart of Casper, Wyoming.
Is the festival ever going to be back on the mountain?
Yes! The festival is only moving for one year. Next year we plan to be back at Beartrap Meadow on Casper Mountain!
Where is the entrance for Beartrap Summer Festival at Washington Park?
There will be two entrances to the festival at Washington Park. The first is on McKinley Street, and the second is on the corner of Jefferson and 11th.
What's the festival all about?
Beartrap Summer Festival celebrates the best of Bluegrass and Americana from across the country, and highlights our amazing local businesses and artists. Normally the festival is held at Beartrap Meadow, atop Casper Mountain, but because of improvements being made to Casper Mountain Road and Beartrap Meadow Park, this year's event will be held at Washington Park.

How does Beartrap Summer Festival work?
It's simple, you pay for your one or two-day ticket. That includes entry into the event and to see our live bands on stage. You can visit each of our vendor booths and food vendors along the way! Make sure to stop and grab a 21+ drinker wristband before you head to the bar!

Our headliners have been announced!! Make sure to check back on the Music page as we get closer to the event for the full line up.

How Much are Tickets?
Prices vary. You can find our ticket pricing listed on our Home Page. Make sure to get your tickets soon as prices will increase!
When will tickets go on sale?
Tickets will go on sale Monday, June 3rd at 8am MTN!

Will there be tickets sold at the gate?
While the event remains under the venue's capacity, tickets are sold at the gate. If we reach capacity, then ticket sales will be prohibited.
Can I come and go from the event?
Yep, as long as you have your wristband on you will be able to leave and return as you please. No wristband = no re- entry.
What else should I bring money for?
If you're in the shopping mood, you can check out many vendor booths that will be at the festival. You'll also be able to purchase alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages, merchandise, food from local food trucks and concessions, and more! Whether certain booths accept credit/debit cards will be at the discretion of the vendors. ATMs will be on site if you need cash.
How will alcohol sales work?
You must stop at receive a 21+ drinker wristband at the wristband tent, without the wristband you will not be able to purchase alcohol. Once you have your wristband you will be able to head to the bars to purchase alcohol.
What's the deal with parking?
This year there are several parking choices.
First, preferred Parking Passes can be purchased as an add-on when buying your festival passes. These passes grant you access to parking on Jefferson Street, near the festival. Already have your preferred parking pass? Head to the corner of Jefferson and 6th streets for access!
On a budget? No problem. There is a complimentary shuttle service from the Casper Rec Center and Beverly Plaza parking lots. All shuttles are ADA-compliant, and drop off right at the ticket booth.
Of course, parking on the street is always an option, but with safety in mind, and to cut down on congestion, we recommend using the shuttle.
And finally, if you are lucky enough to live near Washington Park, just throw those chairs in a wagon and walk our way!

What can I NOT bring?
For liability reasons, large canopies and tents are prohibited entirely in 2024. ALCOHOL (alcohol can be purchased from our vendors), glass of any kind, weapons, drugs, scooters, skateboards or inline skates, and bad attitudes.
What should I bring?
Sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, the party, good vibes, and a hat. It gets hot.
Can Children Attend?
Absolutely. This is an all-ages event, including the concert. Children 12 and under will be accepted into the festival for free. Anyone older than 12 will require a ticket.
