The Beartrap Summer Festival is back for its 18th year! This year’s festival on August 6th and 7th will feature headliner Taj Mahal plus an exciting line-up of bluegrass bands and some brand new events.
Two-time Grammy winner Taj Mahal has been a staple of the American blues and roots music scene for over four decades. He weaves together countless musical threads including the Mississippi Delta, the Appalachian backwoods, the Hawaiian Islands, Europe, the Caribbean, and more. Taj Mahal doesn’t just stand at the crossroads of music – he is the crossroads.
Other Festival performers include regionally and nationally known bands such as Long Road Home (with “Dr. Banjo” Pete Wernick), The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Boulder Acoustic Society, Spring Creek, Haunted Windchimes, and others to be announced. Joining them are three Wyoming favorites, Jalan Crossland, the Dang Ol’ Boys, and John Kirlin and the High Plains Drifters.
