The 2015 Beartrap Summer Festival has come and gone, and it was definitely one for the history books. Check out the highlights here!
We promised Charlie a Wyoming crowd and we held up our end of the bargain. In exchange, he and his band delivered an amazing show, closing out another incredible festival!
Some lucky Beartrap Summer Festival goers had the opportunity to meet the man himself, Mr. Charlie Daniels.
Always a favorite at Beartrap, Wyoming's own Jalan Crossland once again surpassed expectations and brought the crowd to their feet. Few have tried, but none will likely ever be able to de-thrown the king of Wyoming folk music!
Have you ever heard of a "Whack-A-Do" stick? No? Well, neither had I... not until I saw Jalan Crossland's set in the Meadow this year. Drummers are often known for their antics, but these guys took it to level 11. Check out the video!
Casper magician Lazarus Benson came up to the Beartrap Summer Festival to show off some of his mojo. Watch as Lazarus wows some unsuspecting festival goers.
Ignore the security guards. Ignore the shuffling audience. Just enjoy the music. .. Just enjoy the music.
For those familiar with the festival, it is no secret that we encourage dancing and other festive gyrations -- let's be honest, not everything can REALLY be considered "dancing" -- and few have brought the crowd to the front of the stage better than The Last Revel did in the Meadow this year. If you have a chance to see these young men on another stage, be sure to bring your dancing shoes!
There's something about Taarka that makes you want to go eat some Indian food... I just don't know know what it is. Anyway. They were amazing. Of course.
Having now seen Taarka play live, there is no doubt of their diverse musical inspiration.
