As we get closer to this year's festival we are spending more time up on the meadow making plans. Our Festival Director Jana Price was up there a few days ago, and wanted to share the pictures she snapped while she was on the mountain.

The phrase "Second Time Around" has double meaning for the eclectic string band known as Barefoot Movement.

It's not an unusual conversation for two high-school kids in the 1970s, except that these two pickers were Chicano and lived in the hotbed of traditional Mexican music that was East Los Angeles. "We’re looking at each other like, 'You like this stuff?'" drummer Louie Perez recalls. "I thought I was the only weird one.'

We loved this year's line-up for Beartrap 2014--from Jalan Crossland, Littlest Birds and Spencer Bohren, to Johnny Sketch, The Deadly Gentlemen and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band--the bluegrass, country, jazz, insert other awesome music type here, rocked our socks off
Concert goers from all over Wyoming packed into Beartrap Meadow to hear a range of voices, including the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon, and the crowds were eager to express their love for all things bluegrass.
